Red Lane Lodge at Lyme Park

Recently Northwest Goundwork were commissioned by the National Trust to improve the driveway of one of the Lodges at Lyme Park.

The property is set within Lyme’s 1,400 acre historic deer park.

The driveway of the Lodge at Lyme Park was too small and overgrown

The original driveway was too small and overgrown with weeds and grass, so it was carefully cleared and enlarged.

The cleared area was prepared and flattened, before a weed-supressing membrane was laid and gravel added.

The driveway of the Lodge at Lyme Park had a new weed supressing membrane laid underneath the gravel

The gravel layer was added and compressed to create a durable parking area.

The finished driveway will last for many years to come.
