NW Groundwork has added a brand-new Hitachi Zaxis 135W wheeled excavator to the fleet – the latest in a series of upgrades designed to keep our sites moving efficiently and safely.
This new addition brings real, measurable benefits to the work we do and the clients we serve. With reduced emissions, improved fuel efficiency, and built-in safety systems like height and slew restrictors, it’s a machine that reflects our ongoing commitment to doing things the right way – on every job, and for every client.
The wheeled chassis offers greater manoeuvrability and speed across hard standings and urban sites, reducing downtime and enabling quicker setups in tighter spaces. It also supports our promise to operate as efficiently and sustainably as possible, with modern engines that help cut emissions without compromising on performance.
This latest purchase follows our strategic fleet enhancement plan, following our investment in the UK’s first 1400 Cab Hamm Roller, an innovative compaction machine offering improved safety, comfort, and efficiency. Alongside this, we’ve added a specialist tree-shear attachment, helping us carry out woodland and vegetation clearance more safely and with less environmental disruption.
